Almost Christmas in America!

Hey guys! I can't believe that Christmas is coming up so fast! It is going to be in a week or so and that means that I will get to talk to you through skype.. that is crazy! I can't believe how fast time flies! It sounds like everyone is doing great and just busy as always. I did get the families packages.. haha I already ate everything except for the squeeze cheese and crackers. Haha Elder Smith have basically been partying with all of the junk food from good ol america! Thank you for the letters! That is what I really wanted and it was great to hear from you all! Well, I bet you have wondered why I haven't really been sending any pictures since I have been in Yaroslavl and now since I got my camera back I guess I can tell you that it was broken for awhile so I had to go get it fixed. No worries though because I got it back and everything works fine!! Now I will be taking and sending a lot more pictures.
Well, the weather has warmed up a lot here. The past few days it has been -10 or so, so that is really nice! This week we are headed off to Moscow again because we have Zone Conference and Leadership Training so it is going to be another crazy week! Also, this week is the end of the 40 Day Fast for Missionary Work that we have been holding in the Branch. It has been a great thing and we truly have seen miracles during the fast! We have found two less actives who were completely lost and also got 6 new investigators! Unfortunately, no baptisms.. but those will come with time! We also got permission to rededicate Yaroslavl for missionary work, so President Wooley is going to be coming down in January and we will be able to see that. We are working hard to come up with new ideas to get the work going!
This past week the APs came down and we went on splits. It was pretty cool to work with them and we got a lot done. While they were here we picked up a new investigator, his name is Alex. He moved here about two months ago and about one month ago we ran into him on the street. He is about 19 years old and is awesome! He is a good English Speaker and is ready to hear our message. We met with him for the first time this past week and he also came to Church for the first time yesterday. We have lesson with him today so we will see how is goes! It is amazing how you can see that these people have been prepared for our message of the Restored Gospel. Right now we are teaching a lot of people who are ready to be baptized, but at the moment they have not excepted the invitation. In fact, one of our investigators is fasting about baptism today. Miracles happen everyday and now we are just waiting and working for more!
It is great to hear from you all and I love you very much! Remember who you are!

Elder Weihing :)
